Do you know any link to download Arabic story books written for children? I think its a good resource for learning Arabic.

I am in Oman these days, I bought some books from bookstores? do you have any links for soft copies? Further I would like to know the past scholars and Muhadditeen do they wrote any books for children?

Our ancient scholars mainly relied on oral tradition for ethical development of children. Various Mohadisin wrote special collections of Hadith on ethical development. For example, Imam Bukhari wrote الأدب المفرد. All Mohadisin included a chapter on ethics in their collections.

For ethical development of their students, Ibn Abid Dunya and Khateeb Baghdadi were prominent for writing on this subject. You can find his books at:

But mainly these books are for adults. Those scholars did not like the style of story because story-tellers were considered an inferior segment of the society.

You can find modern Arabic books for children like قصص النبيين   of Syed Abul Hassan Ali Nadvi.
