Wa
alaikum us salaam wa Rahmatullah I do not have
much idea about the views of Salafi School of Thought about Tajseem. You can
ask some of their scholar. As I've understood it from the Quran & the
Hadith, I can explain you. Allah's
hand is mentioned in the Quran. And in the same way, it is mentioned in
several Ahadith including the both mentioned by you. In the Quran, it is also
mentioned that: لَيْسَ
كَمِثْلِهِ
شَيْءٌ
وَهُوَ
السَّمِيعُ
البَصِيرُ "There is nothing like Him, He is the Listener, the
Observer." In order
to describe some attributes of Almighty Allah for us, He has used the words
for things we are familiar. It is not possible for us to correctly perceive
such details because we have not seen Allah and there is nothing similar to
Him. For
example, if we have to describe an airplane to a person living in, say 10th century CE, we'll say: "Iron birds are used
in the 21st century." About computer, we can say: "We use
artificial brains" and so on. It will be hard for that person of 10th
century to correctly perceive that. If he starts arguing with us about the
details of the iron bird or the artificial brain, his attitude will not be
reasonable. If he has a long life and remain alive till 21st century, he
would be able to see the reality. Similar
is the situation of the affairs of Allah & Aakhirat. We should believe
them as they are without involving into the details. If we'll do so, our
attitude will not be different from the person of 10th century. In the
Ahadith mentioned by you, a dream of the Prophet صلی اللہ
علیہ وسلم is mentioned. Dream is a dream. Mostly, things are
shown in an allegorical way in dreams. So the correct attitude is not to
investigate such details. These details have nothing to do with our
preparation for our real life i.e. the Hereafter. When we'll reach there to
meet our Lord, Insha Allah we will know the real meaning of such verses &
Ahadith. The
problem of Munkareen Hadith (the deniers of Hadith) is that they take a few
problematic Ahadith and reject the entire collection of Hadith based on these
few Ahadith. On the contrary, some people try to accept all Ahadith whether
they are real or fabricated. We should take the middle path by accepting only
the genuine Ahadith by evaluating them properly. I hope
this detail will help you. Remember
in your prayers. wassalam Mubashir (March
