A new system has been established to minimize cheating during an examination. A database of thousands of questions is formed. A computer selects the questions randomly from this database in a specified number to form the “Question Paper”. Each student receives a different question paper. After the examination, additional weights are assigned to those students who have received difficult questions. Their score is adjusted on a predetermined formula. As a result of this method, all students are tested in a fair method without cheating.

انسانی شخصیت کے مختلف پہلو کیا ہیں؟ ان پہلوؤں کو کس طرح سے نشوونما دی جا سکتی ہے؟ انسان کی شخصیت میں پائے جانے والے تضادات سے نمٹنے کا طریقہ کیا ہے؟ ان سوالات کا جواب حاصل کرنے کے لئے اس تحریر کا مطالعہ کیجیے۔

No student becomes jealous about the other one that (s)he has been provided with easy questions, because everybody knows that the system is fair and I shall receive additional marks.

In the contrary, when a person looks at the enjoyments blessed by the Almighty God to other people, (s)he is victimized by jealousy. The reason of such attitude is that the people consider this world eternal. They assume that the wealthy person is preferred over me. They consider it unjust and are indulged in covetous attitude.

This attitude is a result of not having faith in hereafter. It is a reality that this world is a very, very big examination center. All of us are provided with a different set of questions. At the end of this test, the score earned by each person will be adjusted according to the difficulty level of each question paper. Nobody will be treated unfairly. Therefore, it is not a wise attitude to become jealous based on the question paper given to each person.

The pleasures of this world are not the ‘exam results’. They are simply the ‘questions’. Whatever pleasure we enjoy or the pains we suffer in this world are a test for our thankfulness to God for enjoyment or being patient on sufferings. Foolish people consider it the ‘exam result’ and become jealous. Consequently, they fail in this test due to their thankless attitude to their Lord.
